Multi-Operator Assisted Assembly Cells

To achieve greater throughput, a combination of single, semi-automated work stations may be used to make up a multi-station work cell for the completion of assembly processes. Typically equipped with a PLC and/or a Human Machine Interface (HMI), each individual station performs a portion of the overall assembly process, including leak testing, marking, and incorporating pneumatically-assisted tooling while providing maximum safety for the operator. Often these stations aid with the ergonomics of handling heavy sub-assemblies during the manufacturing process.

Multi Camera Vision Inspection

Cognex In-Sight vision systems are unmatched in their ability to inspect, identify and guide parts. These self contained, industrial-grade vision systems combine a library of advanced vision tools with high-speed image acquisition and processing. A wide range of models, including line scan and color systems, meet most price and performance requirements.

Semi-Auto Assisted Assembly Cells

In the semi-automated assembly process the parts to be connected are placed into the work piece carrier by the operator. The automatic screwdriver starts the fastening process only after the safety device of the assembly cell has been closed (eg. roller shutter, light curtain or safety drawer), which eliminates the risk of injury for the operator during the assembly process.
